I have been a birth doula for over four years now, certified with DONA International and Prodoula, and with 30+ births under my belt, I feel honored to be able to share my expertise and experience with women and families in my home state of North Carolina! I approach birth holistically, and sacredly while serving those who are planning birth center or home births near and around the Raleigh, NC area. I would love to support you physically, emotionally, and mentally during childbirth and beyond. I passionately desire for women to connect with their whole selves; body, spirit, and soul to become fully transformed through birth and postpartum whether it's your first or fourth child.
A bit about me. I grew up in North Carolina, I graduated from California Baptist University BA in Theology and Pastoral Ministries. I have traveled to 10 countries thus far. I am a 31-year-old single mom of an amazing toddler who I birthed at home! I enjoy good local coffee and meandering about in nature. I love gardening, being a homemaker, long-walks, the beach and mountains, and absolutely love doula work.
BIRTH & POSTPARTUM PHILOSOPHY
Childbirth is supernaturally natural. It is euphoric, yet so real and raw. It is a self-transformative life changing experience from the inside out. There is life in its very essence and origin. Therefore, it must be kept sacred for both mother, child, and loved ones.
Postpartum is a time of transformation as well as transition. It should also be kept sacred for the mother, baby, and family. Nurturing and caring for the new mother is essential to the transformative healing and becoming process. Extra love, support, and care through education, emotional guidance, instilling hope, serving hot meals and caring for the newborn, are means to establishing this goal.

Our goal is for mothers to experience childbirth positively through intentional quality care and informative support. To become transformed in body, soul, mind, and spirit through the sacredness of birth. Lastly, to experience healing and wholeness of self through holistic birth doula and postpartum care.
