Postpartum Education
Postpartum & Newborn Prep Class
Looking for a quick holistic crash course to learn about the 4th stage of birth and an overview of newborn care?
This class is for you!
In America, there is a lack of education, support and awareness of how to slow down, heal well, and enjoy the first 40-days of being present at home with your newest addition to the family. The encouragement is to take a full six-weeks to rest and recover, knowing what to expect and taking measures to restore your mind, body, and spirit with the time and resources you will receive in this class. Taking these measures will give you the best outcome you can obtain. Postpartum is often feared as it is unknown to most first time parents or often neglected because of the lack of education offered to parents in westernized American society, medicine, and culture.
I've created a holistic crash course that you only have to attend once to gain all the ancient wisdom that Traditional Chinese Medicine has to offer in order to heal WELL during postpartum. The class is designed for connection with the community and birth/postpartum providers in the Triangle. It is also designed to be more interactive with in-class engagement, along with teaching through story telling and evidence based education. Hope to see you there!
